(CLOSED) Marketing Strategist Open Position

About Kaleidos

Welcome to the open source company behind Taiga and Penpot! Two years ago we pivoted from a 10-year old boutique consultancy business to a pure open source product company and we have secured the funding to make sure we can build the perfect team!

Recently Penpot, the open source design & prototyping tool, exited “beta” and it’s experiencing amazing exposure and growth, while our next major Taiga release is approaching “alpha” status but will remain in stealth mode for a while. As you can see, our focus is to build open source tools that bring designers and developers closer together. The “how” matters to us. As we say on our webpage, “Technology is not neutral and neither are we.

We are an early stage startup with all the necessary resources to build a game-changer open source productivity suite for designers and developers.

🎯 What is your mission?

As a Growth Marketing Strategist, you’ll develop and implement the growth strategy for our open-source business model, collaborating with the Comms, Community advocacy and Product teams. You’ll also monitor and analyze results, identify improvement opportunities, and adjust strategies accordingly. By leveraging your expertise, we trust that you will assist us in further increasing the community of users and contributors.

Your goal will be to accelerate the adoption growth rate, while keeping the existing high levels of engagement our users have with our products.

While we already achieved a clear market fit, we still need your help to identify our Product-Channel Fit. We believe your expertise will be crucial in addressing this challenge.

You will be part of the Community team which is led by the CEO.

🪐 Who would we like you to be?

  • 5-10 years of experience in growth strategies for developer tools or similar.
